Parent Resources
Supporting Families at Every Stage of the School Journey
At St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School in West Des Moines, we believe that parents are our partners in forming students through Faith, Knowledge, and Service. From preschool through 8th grade, our goal is to provide families with the tools, information, and resources they need to help their children thrive academically, spiritually, and socially. St. Francis serves more than 750 students and is committed to developing learners for life in a Christ-centered environment and service opportunities. Parents play a vital role in helping children live out their faith beyond the classroom. Our students benefit from STEM education, technology integration, leadership opportunities, and a rigorous curriculum designed for lifelong success, friendships, and school spirit. The school offers dozens of clubs and activities designed to help students discover and develop their talents. Our middle school students accumulate thousands of service hours annually, learning firsthand what it means to follow Christ through service. There are scholarships and other tuition assistance programs from the state and the Des Moines Dioceses. We encourage families to explore available options and contact the school office at 515-457-7167 with any questions regarding affordability.
