GriefShare Returns

I have been laughing a lot lately since Fr. Pins announced in an e-mail to the staff that Deacon Bill is officially retired. I really smiled when he went on to say that, going forward, all meetings are optional for him. So, this is what retirement is all about?  

Now that I am officially retired, and the diocese has officially declared that I am now in “Retired Deacon Status”, I must take advantage of this article when I can. I am excited to inform you that our next GriefShare program will begin Monday, September 21 in the St. Clare Room from 6:30-8:30 pm. We will meet every Monday night through December 28.  

GriefShare is a faith-based program that helps us with our journeys from mourning to joy after the loss of a loved one or friend. In the coming weeks, you will become a part of a group where people find support, direction, and help. You will be encouraged by people who have been where you are, and you will learn how to manage grief’s emotions and stresses.
