A Year of Gratitude

With the school year now behind us, I find myself reflecting on my first year as assistant principal at St. Francis of Assisi with a heart full of gratitude. 

From the very beginning, I felt warmly welcomed into this faith-filled community. Over the course of the year, I had the privilege of witnessing the many ways our school lives out its mission each day—through the kindness of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the strong partnership we share with our families and parish. 

Our students continue to inspire me. Their joy, curiosity, and compassion are a daily reminder of the importance of the work we do. Whether in the classroom, at Mass, on the playground, or through service to others, they demonstrated what it means to grow not only academically, but also in faith and character. 

I am deeply grateful for our staff, who pour their time, energy, and care into each child. Their commitment to nurturing both the minds and hearts of our students is truly a gift. I am also thankful for our families and parishioners, whose support and involvement make St. Francis of Assisi such a special place. 

As we now turn our attention to summer, we celebrate a year filled with growth, learning, and many blessings. Thank you for the warm welcome you have extended to me in my first year. I feel truly blessed to be part of this community and look forward to all that lies ahead.
